Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to key questions about the digital agromonitoring platform for farmers

  1. Our platform receives and processes daily satellite images of your fields. Using NDVI (vegetation index) algorithms, we analyze vegetation health, identify stressed areas, assess biomass, and forecast yield. Data is updated in your personal account.

  2. The forecast accuracy based on satellite data and historical analytics averages 85-92% within 30 days before harvest. Accuracy improves with the integration of data from weather stations and ag scouts.

  3. Yes, the platform supports integration with most telemetry systems and data formats (Shapefile, ISO-XML, AgGateway). This allows correlating field operation data with satellite indices for more precise analysis.

  4. Weather data (precipitation, temperature, humidity, wind speed) is updated hourly from a 1 km² grid. Forecasts for 7 and 14 days are available, as well as an archive for the last 10 years for climate risk analysis.

  5. The map interface has a "Mark a problem" tool. You can mark an area, add a comment, and upload a photo from your phone. A notification is immediately sent to your agronomist, and a task is created in the system to track its resolution.

Our Journey: From an Idea to a Leader in Agromonitoring

The story of "Agromonitor" began in 2018 when a group of passionate farmers and IT specialists faced a common problem: the lack of simple and accurate tools for field analysis. We believed that satellite data and analytics could transform agriculture, making it more efficient and predictable. Our first prototype, created in a garage at Domodedovskaya Descent, 51, allowed several farmers from neighboring farms to see the first vegetation maps of their lands.

A key milestone was 2020, when we attracted our first investors and launched a full-fledged digital agromonitoring platform. We focused on three pillars: field condition, yield forecast, and weather condition analysis. Today, thousands of farmers across the country use our services, and our team has grown into a close-knit group of experts. We continue to evolve, implementing artificial intelligence for more accurate forecasts, while remaining true to our mission — helping farmers make informed decisions based on data.
